a multiphonic piece for solo flute based on the folk song of the same name. The multiphonics are intended to sound
very much like a violinist’s double stops: the flutist has to tune all of the vertical sonorities/chords in themselves, and also has to tune the sonorities in relation to one another, chord-to-chord.
